A small bakery in Srinagar

Dolce began at home, baking for people we knew. Word travelled the way it does here — a box passed on at a family gathering, a name shared between friends — and it grew from there.

We have kept it deliberately small. Everything is made to order in small batches — same-day if you order by 1pm. The dough is rested before it is shaped and baked, never hurried on the day. It is what gives a cookie its depth, and it isn’t something you can rush.

Real butter. Chocolate worth chopping by hand. Kashmiri walnuts when the season is right. Nothing baked before you ask for it, and nothing sitting on a shelf.
